CSSS Customer Service Skills for Success

Our Customer Services Skills for Success short course is for those eager to enhance their ability to connect with customers through written, oral, and non-verbal communication.

Develop the crucial skills and confidence to build lasting relationships and make a significant impact with every interaction. Pivot Training's Simulated Business environment allows newly acquired skills to be demonstrated in a realistic workplace context. 
Studying the selected skills cluster (4 units) will strengthen skills across workplace communications with colleagues, suppliers, customers and supervisors. You will identify and respond to customer needs, handle complaints and improve your customer service skills in a safe and supportive environment. 
 
The units of competency included in the training are:
  • BSBCXM301 Engage in workplace communication
  • BSBWRT311 Write simple documents
  • BSBOPS304 Deliver and monitor a service to customers
  • BSBOPS305 Process customer complaints
On successful completion of this course, you may choose to undertake further study and complete the BSB30120 Certificate III in Business qualification. If you do, you will receive recognition for the above units.
 
This course is suited to people who are:
  • Seeking to develop skills and knowledge to enhance skills in customer service.
  • Looking for an online course with flexibility.
  • Wanting to participate in online training with a provider that ensures quality support from trained professionals, including options for phone, email and video call support. Support workshops are available in some locations. 
  • Are able to dedicate time to complete online study each week
Enrolment requirements:
  • Participation in a Learner Support Questionnaire to establish learning goals and support needs.
  • Access to (and the ability to use) a computer with business software applications such as Microsoft 365 or Google Apps, PDF Reader and an internet connection.
  • Cookies enabled in your browser – we recommend Google Chrome
  • An email account
  • Access to a webcam or alternate method to interact with your trainer via video call 
 
Delivery
This short course is delivered online over 12 weeks, offering a flexible study option. You will follow a schedule set up for you on enrolment and duration can be adjusted to accommodate a shorter or longer study period.
